Summertime in Eorzea means it’s time for the Moonfire Faire!
This year’s event is sure to be a lot of fan… I mean… fun!
Even if stepping outside in this blistering heat is enough to drain away your energy, it’s a good thing we have the choice to just stay indoors.
We can enjoy summertime activities in Eorzea… with the option of a cooling appliance to beat the scorching summer.
With that said, let’s take a sneak peek at the event details!

Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 1:00 a.m.
to Monday, August 26, 2024 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT)
❖ How to Participate ❖
To begin the quest, speak with Mayaru Moyaru at Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.5 Y:13.8).
Listen to what he has to say, then head out to Costa Del Sol to speak with Haermaga!
❖ Event Rewards ❖
▼ Emote: Uchiwasshoi
This large uchiwa, or Japanese-style fan, is bound to provide great relief in this sweltering heat!
You’ll receive the emote from completing this year’s seasonal event quest.

What’s more is that these festive balloons can be purchased from the Moonfire Faire vendor.
Pick them up to bring the Moonfire Faire festivities into your very own home!
❖ Enjoying Moonfire Faire to the Max! ❖
Of course, the Eorzean Nimble Warrior course and photo-op spots will be returning this year!
The ever-popular tower is quite the challenge, but it can be a lot of fun to climb with friends and strangers alike!
If a break is needed, visit one of our photo-op locations for a quick screenshot and please help yourself to some delicious curry!
It’s also worth noting that some NPCs will only appear during the event!
For example, you can cheer on the muscular eventgoers with the festive Namazu near the Eorzean Nimble Warrior course!
There’s plenty of other unique characters, each enjoying the summer in their own way.
