Dev Blog: Showcasing the Shadowbringers Art Book

by Xenor

Greetings, everyone!

Voltenyne from the Community team here, and today I’d like to showcase the upcoming FINAL FANTASY XIV: SHADOWBRINGERS | The Art of Reflection – Histories Unwritten – art book, which is scheduled to release in late September!

The cover artwork prominently features Minfilia and Ryne.

The art book contains somewhere around 1,000 pieces of art, including artwork and characters from Patch 5.1 through Patch 5.5, YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse, Eden, dungeons, trials, minions, mounts, and more!

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the pages!

The beautiful patch artwork, featuring Shadowbringers characters such as the Crystal Exarch and Gaia, can be viewed in their entirety.

In addition to illustrations of landscapes seen in the Puppets’ Bunker and YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse, all sorts of background artwork have been included.

There’s also rare concept art, such as those of Shiva from Eden’s Verse: Refulgence and Fatebreaker from Eden’s Promise: Anamorphosis.

The equipment illustrations are drawn with meticulous detail and are a must-see!

There’s much more that we haven’t shown here, such as illustrations for seasonal events and #StayHome, and messages from the Art team. It’s a collection of all things Shadowbringers!

The art book also includes a bonus item code for the in-game minion, Wind-up Runar. It’s almost like you can hear him saying “Master Matoya!”
