Greetings, everyone!
On December 12 & 13, an event known as the “Intel Club Extreme Gamers World” took place in the Japan’s electronic capital, Akihabara! SQUARE ENIX was there in full force, and our booth was armed to the teeth with brand-new gaming computers containing FINAL FANTASY XIV for attendees to try out.
Despite the freezing cold weather, masses of people showed up to the Bellsalle Akihabara Event Hall to check out the event.
The staff gave a great overview on the lore of Eorzea as well as an explanation of the jobs and roles to everyone who visited the booth. Attendees were able to try out the character creator to make their very own Warrior of Light, and afterwards they could group up with others to challenge Ifrit.
Many of the attendees had never tried out FFXIV before, but they successfully extinguished Ifrit’s foul flame!
The FF14 Channel crew also took to the stage to do a live broadcast from the venue.
After an entertaining live stream, the crew mingled with the attendees around the booth and offered their advice as adventurers.
You know, all this talk about events is really making me want to plan and hold some kind of big event…
I guess Letter from the Producer LIVE XXVI will have to do for now! 😉
