We hope you all are enjoying the Starlight Celebration festivities. Have you gone for a stroll in the residential areas yet? I’m sure they’re beautiful with all the new illuminated trees set up! The Starlight Celebration will be underway until Saturday, December 31 at 6:59 a.m. (PST), so if you haven’t finished the event yet, be sure to do so!
With the year drawing to a close, it’s nearly time to turn our attention to the Heavensturn seasonal event!
Take a gander at the wonderful illustration created for the event and let’s look at what’s coming!

How to Participate
Speak with the usagi bugyo in Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:11.5 Y:13.9).
Quest: The Box of Fortune
The usagi bugyo sees glad tidings in your future.
This time you will be able to draw a fortune, known as omikuji.
This traditional activity isn’t a common concept in the West; In fact, I wasn’t that familiar with it until hearing about this year’s seasonal event.
Allow me to share my findings: omikuji are fortunes written on strips of paper found in temples in Japan. Temple visitors can make small offerings to receive one and they predict the chances of ones hopes and wishes coming true! But bad luck could also be drawn… in which case it’s customary to leave those fortunes behind.
I think it’s neat that the Dev. team added this Eastern tradition to Heavensturn this year and I can’t wait to draw my omikuji at the start of the New Year in Eorzea!

This year’s seasonal event brings with it a stylish new glam for the new year!
It looked so amazing, that a Group Pose session was required. The outfit looks quite good paired with a katana or a spear.
And… it can be dyed!
Oh, but that’s not all-
â–¼ Indoor Furnishing: Heavensturn Crane Banner
A wall-mounted indoor furnishing will also be available. The vermilion hues on the banner with the crane design is an exceptional piece for any housing enthusiast!
