Have you been enjoying the Moonfire Faire? If you have yet to partake in the summery festivities, you’ll have until Monday, August 26 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT) to complete the event quest and receive the Uchiwasshoi emote. Don’t forget to give the Eorzean Nimble Warrior course a go as well, I promise the view is worth it!
Once the Moonfire Faire wraps up, however, we’ll be ready to welcome the Rising once again. In case you didn’t know, the Rising is an annual celebration of FINAL FANTASY XIV‘s rebirth!

Head on over to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.3 Y:13.7) and speak with the Wandering Minstrel, who is looking for an adventurer both willing and able to help put the finishing touches to this year’s Rising celebrations!

▼ Minion: Brushed-up Krile
Behold this miniature replica of our beloved pictomancer companion, donned in her new outfit from Dawntrail and ready for even more adventures! Isn’t she adorable?!
▼ Tabletop Furnishing: Rising Table Lamp
There’s also a nifty new furnishing item for our housing enthusiasts!
You might recognize the design of these lights from the Rising decorations. Whether you decide to use it as a centerpiece or decoration, bring the celebration into your house or room for some extra festive cheer!
⟣ But wait, there’s more!
If this is your first year celebrating the Rising, you’ll unlock several mini-games that were playable in previous iterations of the seasonal event!
You’ll be able to play them by interacting with the Toy Chest, which can be found in inn rooms, or by using the Toy Box furnishing item in your humble abode.
▼ Kupo Kupo Adventure
Help our moogle friend fend off various enemies with a bouncing ball!
The ball will bounce off the walls as well as enemies, so use your wits (and maybe some sharpshooting skills) to achieve a high score!
▼ Cheap Dungeon
Cheap Dungeon is a classic dungeon crawl where players must navigate through a maze, locate a key, and advance to the next floor.
The mini-game will track your fastest completion time, so set yourself a challenge by completing each level as quickly as you can!
▼ Slide I+XIV
This is one of my personal favorites: a sliding puzzle in which you try to rearrange the numbers 1 through 15 in order!
Try not to be fooled – it’s harder than it looks!
⟣ Unexpected Encounters
After completing the event quest, you may want to stop by the Anchor Yard in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks. You never know who you might chance upon…
